Marie's album The Secret is really rather good.As reality TV stars albums go I'd say it's one of the best.Of course there's the odd cover on it (only 1 though actually if I remember rightly),but as I mentioned at number 33,it's not all samey lovey lovey drivel as Idol/X Factor/whatever else winners seem to produce.Germany's version Deutschland sucht den Superstar starts tonight,although I leave here next week and won't see the final,I'll follow it as I'm intrigued about what kind of winner the Germans will choose.I bet it won't be a bland singer of ballads.Maybe a bland singer of pop-rock though :)

Marie Picasso- Out of My Hands

Marie's album was released last year,but it was near the end of December,and as I discovered it this year,it still counts :) It's a very good album actually,not a hint of schlager and with varied,super tunes from the 80s-tastic Romeo to the amazing power ballad that is Miracle,and this somewhere in the middle.Again,I like the lyrics to Out of My Hands,and it's a good song to sing to.If you feel like singing.I think I said it before- if only our Big Brother contestants were so talented...

VH1 seems to have been taken over by a plague of power ballad programmes these days.Not that I'm complaining,but seriously,there's only so many times you can listen to the Robin Hood song and that bloody Armageddon one.Someone should send them this- it's clearly up there with the best power ballads and it's what the word "fabulous" was invented for.It also happens to be my song du jour- I can't even begin to work out how many times I've listened to it in the last 3 days...
Miracle is by Marie Picasso- Swedish Idol winner and former Big Brother contestant.If the vile,screeching,wastes of space from our Big Brother were as talented,it might be worth watching.Maybe.
